1. Select Mount type

An inside mount is one which the blind fits inside the window frame while an outside mount mounts on the outside of the window frame.

Inside Mount - Provides a clean look while exposing the woodwork. Inside mounts require a minimum depth of 2”. If you do not have the depth required you will need to use an outside mount.

Outside Mount can be used when you are mounting the blind to the wall, ceiling, or woodwork surrounding the window. This type of mount is used when you are trying to make the window appear bigger or you wish to hide an unattractive window or door. You will need 2-¼” flat surface in which to mount your brackets.

2. Measure

Inside Mount:

Step 1: measure the inside width at the top of the window. This is your ordering width. We will make the necessary deductions.

Step 2: Measure the height at three location - the left side, middle and right side. Record the largest of the three measurements. This is your ordering length.

Note: Fabric will be approximately 1-¼” (5/8” on left side and 5/8” on right side) narrower than your ordering width to allow for brackets. If concerned over resulting light gap please select outside mount.

Outside Mount:

Step 1: Measure the width of the are you wish to cover. If space allows we recommend adding 1-¼” (5/8” on each side) to this measurement to help eliminate light seepage. This is your ordering width and will be the overall measurement outside bracket to outside bracket.

Step 2: Measure the height of the area you wish to cover. This is your ordering length.

Note: Fabric will be approximately 1-¼” (5/8” on left side and 5/8” on right side) narrower than your ordering width to allow for brackets. If you need the fabric to cover a specific width (ie, for mounting a shade on a door) add 1-¼” to the width.

3. Left or right control position: Please select which side you want the control chain to be on.

4. Select either Regular or reverse roll for your shade.

On the regular roll the fabric falls off the back of the roll. On the reverse roll the fabric falls off the front of the roll and provides a finished look when not adding a fascia. This option is not available if you are ordering a fascia.
